The living conditions in our low-income urban communities are unacceptable.
The narrative of poverty has shifted. Rapid urban migration is outpacing infrastructure and social development, turning cities and towns into new epicenters of severe marginalization; overcrowded, underserved, and struggling to provide the basic thriving opportunities, sanitation and safety that every person deserves. Through evidence-based programming, strategic partnerships and community empowerment, TPi drives inclusive, systemic change across the urban population in Tanzania.
